Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme
Social Justice Department of Government of Haryana has launched Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme in the year 2017. Under this social welfare scheme, the Government provides financial assistance in the form of monthly allowance for the families having only girl child in Haryana state. In this article, we will look at the Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme application procedure and Ladli pension beneficiary list in detail.
Objective of Ladli Scheme
The key objective of the Ladli scheme is explained in detail below:
- To encourage and motivate families having daughters and to remove the sense of insecurity
- Curbing gender-selective abortion by enhancing the worth of the girl child
- To improve school enrolment by providing education to the girl child
- To reduce girl child school dropout rate
Ladli Scheme Allowance
The enrolment of families under the Ladli scheme will commence from the 45th birthday of the either of the parents whoever is older. This will continue till father/mother attain 60 years that is the allowance will be provided for 15 years. After 60 years, parents will be eligible for the Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme.
In case of the death of father or mother, the surviving partner will get this benefit until they turn 60 years. The benefit will be paid to the mother if surviving. In case the mother is not surviving, the benefit will be paid to the father. As stated above, after that, he or she will be eligible for the Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme.
Rate of Allowance or Pension
The Government provides a monthly allowance amount of Rs.1,800 for all eligible families who are having an only girl child.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any family where biological single parent or parents are the residents of Haryana having no son, biological or adopted, but having only daughters are eligible to avail the benefits
- Parent or Parents who are working for Government of Haryana and having no son, biological or adopted, having only daughters can apply for Ladli scheme
- The gross annual income from all sources of the family must not exceed Rs.2,00,000 for availing the benefits under this social security
Excluded Category
Parents receiving any other pension from Government or Statutory Body or any other organization substantially financed by any Government will not be eligible to receive a pension under this scheme.
If a person is receiving provident funds (PF) or annuities from any source including Financial Institutions, Commercial Banks or Insurance are also not eligible for getting benefits under this scheme.
Documents Required
The documents necessary for applying the Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme are as follows:
- Identity Proof – Aadhaar Card of the parents
- Age Proof Certificate – Birth Certificate or Mark sheet
- Address Proof – BPL Ration Card
- Income Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Photograph of the parent
- Bank Account Details
- Application Form in the prescribed format
Applying for Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme through SJD
For applying Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme follow the step by step guidelines given here:
Step 1: Apply with an application form in the prescribed method. Provide the following details in the application form:
- Parents Name
- Details of child
- Date of Birth of Parents
- Address with Pin code
- Details of Annual income of the family
- Mobile Number

LADLIStep 2: Affix recent passport size photograph of the applicant on the application.
Step 3: Submit the application form along with all supporting documents to the concerned Social Justice Department in Haryana.
Once the concerned authority has approved the application, the applicant will be provided with a beneficiary ID. All eligible families will start to receive the allowance or pension amount. The allowance amount will be directly credited to the parent’s bank account.
Applying for Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme through Atal Seva Kendra
An eligible beneficiary can apply for Ladli scheme through Atal Seva Kendra. Parent of eligible families in Haryana can submit the application for Ladli Social Security Allowance scheme at nearby Atal Seva Kendra. Furnish all the documents to ASK the operating person. The service centre person will forward the application to the concerned authority for verification.
Status of the application and beneficiary ID will be sent to the registered mobile number. Once the application has been verified and approved by the respective authority, the Ladli scheme pension amount will be directly credited to the parent’s account.
Track Pension Details
The following are the procedure to check the status of Ladli Social Security Allowance or pension:
Step 1: Access the official website Social Justice Department of Haryana.
Step 2: Select आधार/पैंशन आई.डी./खाता संख्या से पैंशन विवरण देखें (Track Beneficiary Pension Details) option from the menu. By clicking on this link, the page will redirect to the next page.
Step 3: Provide the beneficiary ID and security code shown in the space provided.
Step 4: Click on the view details button. Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme will appear.
Check Name in Beneficiary List
A registered person can check their name in the Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme 2018 Beneficiaries List. Pensioner can check their name in Beneficiaries List by following the steps given here.
Step 1: Access homepage of Haryana Social Justice Department, click on लाभार्थियों की सूची देखें / View List of Beneficiaries option. The link will redirect to next page.
Step 2: In this page, the applicant or parent need to provide the following details:
- जिला / District
- क्षेत्र / Area
- खण्ड / नगरपालिका / Block / Municipality
- गाँव / वार्ड / सेक्टर / Village / Ward / Sector
- पैंशन का नाम / Pension Type – Select pension type as Ladli Social Security Scheme
- छांटने का क्रम / Sort Order
Step 3: After entering all details, click on लाभार्थी सूची देखें / View Beneficiary List option.
Pensioner Name, Beneficiary ID, Aadhaar Number, Pension Amount will be displayed on the screen. A beneficiary can find their name from this Beneficiaries list.
