  • Jamabandi gives the information regarding the number of the owner of the land
  • Ownership certificate contains detail of the possession or cultivation of land
  • This document is providing the information about the physical location of land – Village details
  • The details of owners of property such as the name of owner his/ her father and grandfather will also be provided in Jamabandi
  • Some landholding that is Khasra number will be given in land ownership certificate.
  • Total area, type of land and status of ownership details will be available in Jamabandi.

Eligibility Criteria

The land ownership certificate will be issued only if there is no dispute regarding its ownership and the concerned land should not Manipur Government land or assigned land belonging to the Government.

Applicable Fee

Land ownership certificate service does not require any payment for processing. The user has to pay a service charge to CSC centre.

Documents Required

Applying Land Ownership Certificate (Jamabandi) through CSC

Guidelines for using the Manipur land ownership certificate through CSC centre are explained in step by step procedure.

Step 1: Approach the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) in your locality.

Step 2: Submit an application for land ownership certificate to CSC operating personnel. Provide all required documents as mentioned above. You have to give the following details:

  • Revenue Village Number and Name
  • Patta Number
  • Dag Number
  • Land Class
  • AREA
  • Applicant details
  • Reason for applying the certificate

Step 3: CSC person will be forwarded the ownership certificate application online to the concerned authority. You will be provided with a unique number (application number).

Note: Keep unique reference number safe for future reference.

Step 4: Status of application will be updated to the registered mobile number and mail id. You can also check it online. (Explained below)

Step 5:  After verification by Mandal Revenue Officer, land ownership certificate will be issued.

Step 6: Once you have received the application approved SMS, revisit CSC centre. Provide a unique reference number to CSC person. You will be provided with a digitally signed land ownership certificate (Jamabandi).

Applying Jamabandi through MP e-District Portal Online

Guidelines for applying Manipur ownership valuation certificate through e-District Portal is explained in step by step procedure.

Step 1: To get Manipur Jamabandi, Access the home page of Manipur e-District Portal.

User Registration

Step 2: For avail the certificate service of the e-District portal, the applicant need to register in the portal. From the main page of the Manipur e-District website select citizen login option.

Step 3: By clicking on ‘Click here Login with e-Pramaan., the link will be redirected to the e-Pramaan page.

Step 4: You have to register in the portal for applying Manipur Jamabandi.

Step 5: Applicant can create the profile by clicking on ‘Create account’ option. You can register in the portal using any of the following options:

  • Registration utilizing Aadhaar Number
  • Registration using Driving Licence
  • Registration without Identity verification

Step 6: If you have selected the Aadhaar number as an option, enter the Aadhaar number; you will get an OTP to the registered mobile number. Enter the same for verification purpose.

Step 7: If you are using Driving Licence, enter the driving licence number, date of birth and captcha code.

Step 8: You can also register in the portal without using any identity proof. Click on the third option and provide few details such as Personal Details, Address Identity information, Additional information.

Note: Registration without ID is not recommended.

Login to Portal

Step 9: After registration, login to the e-District portal using username and password for applying Land valuation certificate.

Provide Details

Step 10: After login to the portal, select Land Ownership Certificate as services option. You have to fill out an application form, provide all the mandatory details of lands:

  • Revenue Village Number and Name
  • Patta Number
  • Dag Number
  • Land Class
  • AREA
  • Applicant details
  • Reason for applying the certificate

Upload Documents

Step 11: Upload all required documents (refer above) and click on submit.

Step 12: On successful submission of application form, an Acknowledgement slip will be generated. Note the application number for future reference.

Status of Application

Status of Jamabandi application will be updated through SMS. The applicant can also track the status of the application by visiting Manipur e-District Portal. Select the Application Status option from the home page.

Provide Application number and Click on Search, Jamabandi application status will be displayed.

Verify and Print Certificate

Once the application for land ownership certificate is approved, you can download the document from the Manipur e-District portal.

Click on verify/Print Certificate option from the menu bar, provide application number and click on search button. After verification, the digitally signed land ownership certificate can be downloaded.
