TRB Recruitment Application
To be eligible for the post, the prospective candidate must have passed the Master’s degree with a first class in the respective field of study. The qualification should be certified by a University or Institution which is duly recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Engineering graduates can apply for the post if they have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in the respective branch of Engineering, Technology or Architecture with at least 60% of marks, and have also obtained a Master’s degree in the particular field. The candidate will be eligible for the post if he/she has scored at least 60% in either the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The candidates applying for the post must be within the age of 57.
Selection Process
The prospective candidates are required to undergo a selection process which consists of a written examination, followed by a Certificate Verification.
The examination will be inclusive of questions pertaining to the particular post applied for by the prospective candidate. The syllabus for the subjects can be found in the official website of TRB.
Candidates who are employed elsewhere need to obtain a No-Objection Certificate from their employer, which needs to be furnished during the time of verification.
Documents Required for TRB Recruitment Application
The applicant is required to furnish the following documents during the stage of verification:
- Educational certificate of the candidate, which must be inclusive of a 10th/SSLC Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, Graduate Degree Certificate and Post Graduate Degree Certificate.
- Community Certificate.
- Tamil Medium Study Certificate.
- Teaching Experience Certificate.
- Disability Certificate.
TRB Recruitment Application Procedure
The prospective candidate can make an application online by selecting the preferred choice of post, on the condition that he/she meets the required eligibility criteria.
The application should be supported by a fee, which amounts to a sum of Rs 600 if the candidate belongs to General or OBC category. SC/ST/PwD/SCA candidates are required to remit a fee of Rs 300.
