Portal of Grievances for Violation of PPP-MII Order, 2017
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has launched an online portal of Grievances for Violation of PPP-MII Order, 2017.
This new portal enables companies participating in government procurement to file complaints about the alleged violations of the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017. From July 1, 2021, the grievances will mandatorily be required to be lodged through this online portal.
Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017
The government of India has issued Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017 on June 15, 2017, to promote the production of goods and services in India and enhance income and employment in the country.
The order aimed at incentivizing production linked through local content requirements to encourage domestic manufacturers” participation in public procurement activities over entities merely importing to trade or assemble items.

The Portal of Grievances for Violation of PPP-MII Order, 2017 has the following features
- As mentioned above, DPIIT has launched this portal to enable entities like suppliers/bidders participating in government procurement to lodge grievances for alleged violation of the PPP-MII Order, 2017.
- The stakeholders can lodge grievances for alleged violation of the order and the DPIIT can refer those to procuring entities/ministries/departments concerned through the portal on a real-time basis for examination, necessary corrective action.
- Procuring entities and Ministries/Departments can send their comments to DPIIT on this portal itself.
Benefits of the Portal
It is expected that the portal shall significantly reduce the grievance redressal time. All suppliers/bidders, as well as procuring entities/ministries, are advised to make efficient and effective use of the portal.
Procedure for User Registration
The suppliers, bidders, entities can register themselves on the Portal of Grievances for Violation of PPP-MII Order, 2017 and generate a user ID/password for filing their online grievances.
The user needs to access the official website of Portal of Grievances for Violation of PPP-MII Order, 2017. From the home page click on the New User option, the link will redirect to the new page.
The user needs to click on the submit option after providing the following details:
- Name and Address of Company Complainant
- Key Managerial Person Detail
- Authorized Representative Details
The user ID and password for the procuring entities and Ministries/Departments concerned will be separately intimated by this Department to the nodal officer designated for Public Procurement.
After obtaining the user name and password, the applicant can file grievances for alleged violation of the PPP-MII Order, 2017.
