For connecting land records with Aadhar number, the government has surveyed lands in all states and created online archives for that land records. The department of Andhra Pradesh Registration & Stamps has made the land records online. The department of Andhra Pradesh Registration & Stamps Department has begun Aadhar-based biometric verification, and it has suggested to the revenue officer to start a campaign for people to link their UIDAI cards with land records (property details). - Make the Aadhar card. If you have already Aadhar card number available, that is good.
- Approach the nearest land record office (Panchayat office, Tehsildar, collector, revenue department)
- Provide the Aadhar details with land and property details
- Cross check twice before final linking
Visit the home page of Mee Bhoomi web portal, from this page select the Aadhar/other identity documents.
The list of services will be displayed, select the Aadhar linking. The link will redirect to new page.
Provide details of District name, Name of the zone, Village name, Account number and enter the captcha code.
By clicking on the click option, the Aadhar number will be linked to land records (Mee Bhoomi).
Aadhar Linking Status
You can track the process of linking Aadhaar Number with Andhra Pradesh Land Records. From the home page of Mee Bhoomi select the Aadhar/other identity documents and then click on Aadhar status.
The page will redirect to a new page, select the District name from the drop-down menu and provide the number of complaints. By clicking on the click option, the status of Aadhar linking will be displayed.
E-Property Pass Book (EPPB)
According to this announcement, no person can sell or buy any property until registering the properties in the E-Property Pass Book (EPPB). Another vital thing is EPPB will be linked with Aadhaar and PAN online.
The landowners have to personally report with ownership proof to the Sub Registrar office where special officers will enter the details of the property in EPPB. Once the property details are entered in EPPB, the title of the property will be transferred to new owner.
