The Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched a scheme entitled “Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojana” for the welfare of citizens having one daughter. The purpose of this scheme is to grant financial support in the form of monthly pension allowance to the eligible senior citizens of the state. Eligibility Criteria
The below following are the eligibility required to apply for the
- The beneficiary couple to be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
- The minimum age of the beneficiary couple should be at least 60 years old.
- The benefits under this scheme can be availed to the couple having the only daughter as a child.
- This scheme has been started only for the economically weaker section
- The beneficial couple must not be income taxpayers.
- The Scheme was confined to the people belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL)
- If the family income of a person is less than Rs. 21000, he/she can apply for MKAPY Scheme.

Benefits of the Scheme
The below following are the key benefits of the Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojana
- The amount of pension under the scheme has been fixed as Rs. 500 per month by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh.
- The parents with the only daughter will be granted with this financial aid from the State Government.
- This scheme is operated under the Social Justice Department, Madhya Pradesh.
- In case of the death of father/mother, the surviving partner will get this benefit until they turn 60 years. The benefit will be paid to the mother if surviving. In case the mother is not surviving, the benefit will be paid to the father.
Note:
- In case of change of address, information pertaining to it should be intimated to the District Magistrate within a month.
- On the occurrence of the death of the recipient, the amount due until the date of death will be handed over to the heir of the deceased recipient after verification. The fund provided will be withheld thereafter.
Document Required to Apply MKAPY

- MKAPY Scheme Application Form
- Residence certificate of Madhya Pradesh
- Income certificate to prove family income is below Rs.21000 (Salary slip can be provided)
- Identity Proof: PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, etc.
- Address Proof: Aadhar Card, Valid Passport, Utility bill, Property tax bill, etc.
- Certificate of BPL (Below Poverty Line family).
- Certificate of Incapacity can be provided.
- Bank passbook and savings or deposit details.
- Occupational certification that has to be signed by the tahsildar of the respective taluk.
- Any other documents (if required)
Online Application Procedure
To apply for the Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Scheme follow the below procedure.
Step 1: The applicant has to access the official portal using this link.
Step 2: In this page, the applicant has to click on the list of beneficiaries option that is given under the Samagra Pension Portal.
Step 3: Then the applicant will have to enter the district, local body, gram panchayat/zone, village ward and select the type of pension as Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojana.
Offline Application Procedure
The Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Scheme can be applied by providing the information of the persons to fill up the applications who are ready to avail the benefits of this scheme. The applicants will have to fill the Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Scheme enrollment forms and submit it to the relevant office. Then the relevant department will make the verification process and prepare the beneficiary list. The concerned District Social Welfare Office will scrutinise the application form, and if required, the applicant will be called for the verification process. If sanctioned, the assistance is remitted on a monthly basis to the bank account of the beneficiary as per the Aadhaar number of the beneficiary or through ECS in Direct Benefit Transfer mode.
