GST Rates for Iron & Steel Products in India
Iron and steel are the backbone of Indiaβs construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. Under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) framework, most iron and steel products β from raw materials like pig iron and ferro alloys to finished goods such as TMT bars, pipes, and structural components β are taxed at a standard 18% GST rate.
