Registration Process
The following steps are necessary to register a partnership firm in Maharashtra:
Step 1: Log on to the website
The applicant has to log on to the official website https://rof.mahaonline.gov.in/IndividualRegister/IndividualRegister
Step 2: Enter the Details
The user has to enter all the details in the application form.
Step 3: Enter the Captcha code
After entering all the details, the user has to enter the Captcha code.
Step 4: Click Register
After entering the Captcha code correctly, the user has to click on Register. This registers the applicant.
Form A
Form A is an application that is used in the registration of partnership firms. The following are the steps to submit Form A:
Step 1: Click Raise Form A
In the ‘Firm Management’ tab, click on Raise Form A.
Step 2: Enter the Details
The applicant has to enter details like Partnership Name, Business Address, etc. in the application form.
Step 3: Add Partners
By clicking on ‘Add Partners’, the applicant can add partners. The applicant should enter the details of the partners.
Step 4: Attach Documents
The required documents have to be scanned and attached with the application form.
Step 5: Submit the Form
The completion of the online procedure takes place after clicking on the Submit tab.
Offline Procedure
The applicant must do the offline procedure after completing the online procedure.
Step 1: Print out of the application
The Form A application should be printed on Green Ledger paper.
Step 2: Signing the application
The applicant must sign the application form in front of the designated authority.
Step 3: Submission of the form
The applicant must submit the form with all the required documents to the designated office of the Registrar.
Step 4: Verification
The application, along with the documents has to be verified by the person sitting at the counter.
Step 5: Submission of DD
Once the verification process is over, the applicant receives an acknowledgement on the copy of the covering letter and the authority letter.
