Tripura Ration Card

Ration card is a multi-purpose legal document issued by State Governments. It is advisable for all residents of the State to hold ration card to avail subsidized food commodities. The eligibility criteria are based on the economic status of the beneficiary's family. The applicant needs to satisfy the below criteria laid down by the Government of Tripura.

  • The applicant should be a resident of the Tripura State.
  • The applicant must not possess another ration card.

Aadhaar linking with Ration card would help in maintaining transparency in the Public Distribution System (PDS) network. The primary objective of linking Aadhar with Ration card is to avoid the issuance of duplicate and multiple identities by digitizing it and also to streamline the benefits attached to it. The applicant can obtain the reference number of the application to check the application status online.
