Rythu Runa Mafi - Andhra Pradesh

Rythu Runa Mafi Yojana is a farm loan waiver scheme under which the Andhra Pradesh state government has waived-off farmers loan in the state. As farmers protests are going on across the country, Rythu Runa Mafi is an initiative of the Andhra Pradesh state government to reduce the loan burden of the farmers.

Phases of Rythu Runa Mafi Scheme

In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the government had already declared and completed the 1st phase of the list on 7th December 2014  and 2nd phase of the list on 27th March 2015. Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu has released the Andhra Pradesh Rythu Runa Mafi 3rd Phase list of eligible farmers on its official website.

Amount of Loan Waiver

The loan waived off under Rythu Runa Mafi Yojana starting 9th October is 10% interest for two years. Under the third list of Rythu Runa Mafi Yojana, about 36.72 Lakh farmers would be benefited from the farm loan waiver scheme.

Eligibility

To be eligible for loan waiver under the scheme, the farmer must be in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Further, the Ration Card must be issued in Andhra Pradesh, and the farmer should have taken a loan before 2014.

Applying for Farm Loan Waiver

To apply for loan waiver under the Rythu Runa Mafi scheme, the farmer has to register with the

official website of the scheme. After registering with the website successfully, the applicant will get a system generated, Login-ID and Password. The details can be used to login to the website to get the application form.

The following are documents which need to be submitted at the time of registration of the scheme:

  1. Aadhar card of the farmer (to link the Aadhar with the scheme).
  2. Require the ration card (to verify the residence of the farmer and to check the loan status).
  3. Loan-related documents, along with their bank details.

Checking 3rd Phase List & Loan Status

The applicant can check the loan status by the ration card number and Aadhar card number. The state government has given an option of checking the loan status of the scheme online through account number. All the registered farmers of the state can check for their Andhra Pradesh Rythu Runa Mafi 2017 Loan Status by following the below-mentioned steps –

  3. Applicants will have to login by entering User ID and password.
  4. Click Login.
