Attaching a Car with Ola

The first option facilitates the driver to utilize his/her car for the services. Candidates in possession of cars may approach the offices of Ola, which are located in various cities. The registration would be conducted without imposing any charges on the applicant.
The employed driver would be remunerated for the services on a daily basis or within two working days (in case of customer payments through Ola money or other regulations). The earnings could be viewed on the partner app or through the website of Ola.
Ola operates with referral schemes that benefit the employee and the customer for recommending the cab service to others, the details of which are updated on the website from time-to-time.
Vehicle Proof
Other than the documents specified above, the applicant proposing to attach his/her car must produce the following proofs of vehicle:
- Vehicle RC (Registration Certificate)

Lease a Car
The interested applicant may also choose to get a car on lease from Ola. The option provides him/her with a range of benefits such as:
- Zero-risk on the leased car.
- The option of driving a car of one’s choice.
- Zero maintenance cost.
- Free accidental insurance of Rs. 2 lakhs.
The candidate wishing to lease a car must submit the required documents to the offices of Ola, and remit the verification fee and security deposit. The car would be delivered on lease after the verification process. The fee to be paid includes Rs. 4000 as non-refundable charge and Rs. 21,000-Rs.31,000 as refundable security deposit (varies according to the type of car chosen).
Ola would automatically deduct the daily rental amount from the total earnings and deposit the same through NEFT or cash. The user would be required to pay a daily rent of INR 700-1150, which is determined based on the city of service and car model so leased.
Car maintenance and repairs can be pursued by scheduling an appointment through the ‘Ola partner mobile app.’ Employees can either choose to renew the lease or reclaim the security deposit remitted.
It may be noted that the charges for scheduled maintenance would be met by the company; while challan payments, damage to the vehicle due to improper maintenance, etc., wouldn’t be covered.
Operate your Fleet on Ola
The Oxford English Dictionary defines a fleet as “A number of vehicles or aircraft operating together or under the same ownership.” Ola facilitates partnership with fleet operators by attaching multiple cars owned by a person or his/her company. Ola’s fleet facility benefits an operator in the following manner:
- Live tracking of all drivers and cars.
- Facility to check the fleet’s performance.
- Monitor driver login and other details of the trip.
- Intimation of payments, log out, etc.
- Round-the-clock telephonic support.
Ola hasn’t specified any limitation on the number of cars to be attached to the fleet. The company would assist the fleet owners in scouting for driver partners and provides them with an attachment training program. Payments are directly remitted to the operator’s account, who must take the initiative of distributing it among drivers.
Ola Rickshaw/Ola Bike
