Income certificate is a document issued by the government to its citizens, confirming their annual income. The certificate is used to prove the income details that is earned through all sources by an individual. This record is used for both legal and official purposes. Income certificate is used by many college students to avail scholarships and other subsidies to pursue studies. To obtain an income certificate, the applicant has to approach the Tahasildar office. Income certificate certifies all the income sources of an individual. This certificate is mandatory to avail benefits from various public welfare schemes.Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria to obtain an income certificate in Himachal Pradesh.- The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should not have any pending debit or dues in any banks or any other lending institutions.
Documents Required
The following are the required documents to obtain a Himachal Pradesh income certificate:- Aadhaar card
- Two passport size photographs
- NOC issued by banks and capital granted certificate.
- Income Proof
- Ration Card
Application Procedure
The applicant can apply for income certificate in Himachal Pradesh using the following methods. The applicant can either approach the CSC centres or approach the Tahasildar's office.Applying through CSC Centers
Step 1: Find out the nearest CSC Center The applicant has to know the nearest location of the Common Service Center. Step 2: Nearest CSC Centers The applicant can click here to know the nearest CSC Centers. Step 3: Required Documents The applicant at the time of approaching the centre has to have all the required documents.Applying at the Tahasildar's Office
Step 1: Visit the Tahasildar Office The applicant has to approach the Tahasildar Office. Step 2: Application The application will be a plain paper by affixing a court fee of 25 paise. Step 3: Attaching the documents The applicant has to attach all the required documents along with the application. Step 4: Submit the Application The applicant, after completing all the procedures, has to submit the form to the respective Tahasildar.
