GST State Codes
GST is a single indirect tax form for the whole country making the Indian market unified. In the process of GST migration or while obtaining new GST registration, the businesses would receive a 15 digit provisional ID or GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number). All 15 digit GSTIN consists 2 digits signifying the state code, 10 digit PAN number, 1 digit number that signifies the number of registrations and the remaining 2 digits as check digit.
