Diyagreen City Affordable Housing Scheme
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has initiated the Diya Green City scheme 2018 under the Affordable Housing Policy for home seekers of the state. Under this housing scheme, the State Government is offering a total number of 846 residential flats of EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG of 2/3/4 rooms. The area of these flats located in Diya Green City Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad. The online application process of the scheme has been started from 15 July 2018.
Objective of the Scheme
The affordable housing scheme aims to construct a livable house with all necessary amenities within proximity and easy commutability to the workplace and offices for the home buyers in a transparent manner. The home buyers will also get a rebate in registry charges as per the draft policy of Diya Green City scheme. The applicants can view the approved prices and registration amount using this link.
Eligibility Criteria
In Uttar Pradesh, to register for this Green City scheme, the following criteria must be fulfilled:
- Applicant must be an Indian Citizen
- Applicant’s age must be over 18 years
- The applicant or his family should not own more than one residential plot or house development under the Affordable Housing Scheme
- Applicants who have already registered under any other affordable housing scheme of state but have not been given a house are also eligible for this scheme
Family Income Criteria
| EWS (Economically Weaker Section) houses | Annual income must not exceed Rs.3 lakh from all sources. |
| LIG (Lower Income Group) houses | Annual income must not exceed from Rs.3 lakh to Rs.6 lakh from all sources. |
| MIG (Middle Income Group) and HIG (Higher Income Group) of 2/3/4 rooms | All income groups can apply for this scheme. |
Note: After the allotment draw, the successful allottees of EWS and LIG houses will have to provide their latest annual income certificate issued by the competent Authority. Otherwise, allotment will be cancelled.
Online Application Procedure
The applicant must follow the below-given procedure to apply for the Diya Green City Affordable Housing Scheme online.
Step 1: The applicant must visit the official website of Diya Green City scheme by clicking on this link http://www.diyagreencity.com/
Step 2: The applicant has to click on the “Apply Online” button on the home page.
Step 3: Now click on the “Online Registration Form” button and enter the mobile number.
Step 4: Then, the applicant will be redirected to the registration form page as displayed below:
Step 5: The applicant has to fill all the required details in the registration form and then click on the “Register” button.
Step 6: After the successful registration, make the payment through the Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card and submit the form.
Step 7: The applicant can view the payment status of the registration amount by clicking on the “view payment status” button.
Offline Application Procedure
The interested applicants can purchase the application form or prospectus from the authorized bank branches of State Bank of India on cash payment of Rs.200. Then the applicant has to submit the duly signed application form along with Cheque or Bank Draft of registration amount may be deposited into the selected bank branches as mentioned in the prospectus.
