Applying for Widow Pension Scheme

Step 1: The applicant must visit any of the following offices mentioned below to obtain the Application Form (Form-P) for registering under this scheme:

If the applicant resides in rural areas, the office of the Block Development Officer will issue the application form.
In case the applicant resides outside the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, then the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer of the concerned Panchayat Samity will issue the application form.
In case the applicant resides within the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, then the office of the controller of West Bengal will issue the application form.

Step 2: The applicant should fill the application form and attach all documents as mentioned above.

Step 3: Submit the application form and the essential documents to the office which issued the respective Form P. Note:- Application Form for widow pension scheme can be obtained from the regional office without remitting any fee for it.
