The Rajasthan Government has launched the new social security pension scheme known Vridhjan Krishak Samman Pension Yojana for the small and marginal farmers in the state. The scheme intends to empower all the old age small and marginal farmers by providing them with financial assistance monthly. Highlights of the Scheme

Vridhjan Krishak Samman Pension Scheme will cover approximately around 11 Lakh small and marginal farmers, and the budget of the scheme will be RS.990 crore. The scheme will include all small & Marginal farmers who are not availing the benefits of any other social security schemes. Under this scheme, the eligible farmers will get Rs.1000 for financial allowance.

Eligibility Criteria for Vridhjan Krishak Samman Pension Yojana

The eligibility criteria for applying the Vridhjan Krishak Samman Pension Yojana are listed below:

If a senior farmer wants to take advantage of this government pension scheme, it is essential to be initially a resident of Rajasthan.
It is applicable for the women farmers whose age of 55 years and above 55 years of age will get Rs.750 per month.
It is applicable for the male farmers whose age of 58 years and above 58 years of age will get Rs750 per month.
It applies to all farmers whose age is 75 years and above 75 years of age will receive Rs.1000 per month.
It is applicable only for the small and marginal farmers in the state.
It is applicable for the farmers belonging to the category of below poverty line.

The required documents are to be produced at the time of registering the scheme: Aadhaar Card: Copy of Aadhar card of the applicant. Ration card: BPL Ration card of the applicant. Residence Proof: Applicant Residence Proof ( Residence certificate). Income Proof: Applicant income Proof (Income certificate). Bank Details: Applicant bank passbook and savings or deposit details. Photograph: Applicant passport size photograph. Identity Proof: Applicant Birth certificate or identity proof with the date of birth.

Application Procedure for the Scheme

If the eligible applicant wants to apply for this Government Vridhjan Krishak Samman Pension Yojana, then you can get the form of Rajasthan Veterans Farmers' Resident Pension Scheme by going to the subdivision office near your area, from which your application will be checked in the Tehsildar's office. After your application will be accepted. Under this pension scheme, the money received will be directly sent to the beneficiary's bank account or in the post office account through Direct Bank Transfer.
