Syncing Procedure

Given below are the steps that should be followed by a user to sync PAN with Digilocker:

Step 1: Log on to the website The user has to log on to the official website  Step 2: Signing In The user has to sign in using the Aadhar number. A pop-up bar appears stating, 'Issued documents come directly into your DigiLocker from registered government departments and agencies. You can also pull documents from some partners and add to issued documents'. Step 4: Click on Pull Documents The user has to click on the hyperlinked option 'Pull Documents'. Step 5: Select PAN Verification Record Under the partner's name, the user has to select 'Income Tax Department, Government of India' from the drop down. In document type, the user has to click on 'PAN Verification Record'. Step 5 Step 5 Step 6: Enter the Details The user has to click on search documents and enter the details. Details to be entered are:
  • Name of the user
  • Date of Birth
  • PAN
  • Gender
Step 7: Click on Get Document Once all the details are entered, the user has to click on 'Get Document'. Step 8: Submission of PAN Upon clicking on 'Get Document', all the details of the PAN will be registered online. Step 9: Viewing the Document After successful completion of all the procedures, the PAN is synced with Digilocker. The user can either view the document or save the link of the document.
