Any person proposing to construct a building for a business purpose or residential purpose of more than 15 meters of height must obtain a building plan approval from the fire service department. Premises/Buildings Requiring Fire License

To obtain the NOC for Fire License is mandatory for the following categories of buildings:

Hospitals or nursing homes
All Industrial buildings, Hazardous buildings and Mercantile buildings
Residential occupancy with a part commercial usage
Educational buildings such as schools, colleges, universities, Montessori, etc.
Houses in multiple occupations (HMOs)

The stipulated time for providing the service will take 30 days after the initial request at the divisional fire office.

Step 6: Upon submission, the user will get the transaction ID to the registered mobile number informing the details about the registration. The application has to make a note of the transaction number to check the status of the application through online.

Validity of NOC/ Fire License
