To apply for the scheme, kindly follow the procedure mention below: Visit Nearest Post Office Step 1: The applicant has to visit the nearest branch of the post office. Create a New Account Step 2: Provide your aadhaar card and any other identity proof to create your new post office account. Transfer Existing Account Step 3: To transfer your existing account (Savings bank account) into the post office account the applicant has to provide the bank accounts details. Note: Once your account has been created the department of the post office will deliver the pension amount every month to the applicant.
