India has the largest bovine population and dairying activities act as a subsidiary source of income for farmers who rear livestock in addition to farming. E Pashu Haat is an extensive portal, which provides information on pet cattle, trading of bovine animals that were not offered on any other platform in the country.

To facilitate E-Trading Market portal for livestock germplasm and additional related services.
To enable farmers to connect directly with breeders - Central, State, Co-operative and private agencies.

Steps to use the Portal:

E-pashuhaat Steps Step 1: The user (buyer/seller) should visit the portal using the official website /?index.php . Step 2: Select the option from the drop-down list of germplasm marketplace tab in the Home page. The options include Livestock, Frozen Semen, Embryos, and Milk Products (yet to launch). Each option provides the users with details like address, contact numbers, etc., of individual Institutes / Agriculture universities in States.

E-pashuhaat Certified Details Step 3: The given details can be compared using filters and can opt for purchase. The user does not require a login to view and check the details. However, it is necessary to register for any transactions to occur. For New Registration, Click login in the home page of the portal, then select New Registration option. Under the relevant option to the user, information such as aadhar details, personal details, and location details must be furnished which will be verified using an OTP.
