E Grantz Eligibility

  • Students pursuing courses authenticated by the university or board
  • Students admitted under merit and reservation quota
  • Students who belong to the categories of Scheduled castes, other eligible communities, OBCs and other communities who are socially and economically backward including forward castes
  • Students whose attendance is not below 75% at the end of each month

E Grantz Stipend Rates

The stipend rates depend on various categories the student belongs, let's look at different stipend rates:

For Scheduled castes and OEC's

  • Below 8kms from residence would be Rs.500
  • Above 8 km would be RS 600
  • Students undergoing professional courses and reside on their own due to lack of hostel facility would be charged Rs.1500

For OBC's

This is applicable for students who are undergoing +2 course, and they would be charged Rs.160 Students undergoing PG and Professional courses would be charged as follows:

  • Day scholars. Rs.200
  • Hostellers Rs.250

Students who are undergoing a polytechnic course would be charged as follows:

  • Day scholars Rs.100
  • Hostellers Rs.150

Submission of E Grantz Application

Applications for E Grantz must be submitted via the official Website. The students could also submit the applications online via Akshaya e-centers located anywhere in the state. The services in the Akshaya centers are free of cost. Students must submit their application along with certificates within a week of admission. Students who presently undergo a succeeding year of a course need not submit applications.
