Chandranna Bheema Yojana

Chandranna Bheema Yojana has been launched by the state government of Andhra Pradesh to benefit labourers in unorganised sectors such as agricultural labourers, artisans, small self-employed people, petty traders, vendors, hamals and shop employees. Under this insurance policy scheme, persons under the below poverty line and labourers will get the facility of insurance under this scheme. Chandranna Bheema Yojana Benefits

This scheme aims to provide financial protection to the labours for their loss. The workers can avail the benefits of this scheme by paying Rs.15 in the labour department. The benefits of this Chandranna Bheema Yojana are as follows:

  • This insurance policy covers Rs.5 lakh for accidental death and total disability.
  • The insurance holder would be paid Rs.2.50 lakh in case of partial disability for the workers in the age group of 18-70 years.
  • In case of natural death, the workers in the age group of 51-60 years will receive Rs.30,000.
  • A Scholarship of Rs.1,200/- for children (up to two children) studying 9th, 10th, Inter and ITI.

Eligibility Criteria

All unorganised workers in the State can register under this scheme. The age limit for the worker must be in the range of 18 to 70 years. All applicants must have a bank account in any nationalised bank. The worker who is drawing a monthly wage of Rs.15,000/- per month or less will be enrolled through the Praja Sadhikaara Survey are eligible under this scheme.

The Praja Sadhikara survivor will visit the worker’s house, make a preliminary enquiry, collect claim application with full details including Nominee details and Account Number etc., and other documents like Aadhar Card, Ration Card copies etc. Step 5: After fetching the details from the UIDAI server, save the bank details. Apart from these details, the application requires employment details. Step 6: After that, an applicant will receive an application reference number with application registration details to email and mobile number. Step 7: Within 60 days, a policy number is generated, and an Insurance certificate is sent to address mentioned in the Aadhaar card.
