On June 1st, 2020, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi has launched CHAMPIONS Portal for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The CHAMPIONS Grievance management system is a vital initiative of the Ministry of the MSME. Using this portal, the trader can now fill MSME grievance online registration form at the official website to get their concern addressed. This technology-driven grievance monitoring portal has been launched to promote MSME enterprises in India.

CHAMPIONS stands for “

Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Processes for Increasing the Output and National Strength”. This portal will function as a one-stop place for the MSME sector. The introduction of CHAMPIONS is to make the smaller units big enterprises by helping and handholding. The focus areas of introducing the portal are as follows:

Basic Objective of MSME CHAMPIONS Portal

The primary objective of launching this portal is to assist Indian MSME sectors into the abundant as National and Global CHAMPIONS by solving their grievances and encouraging, supporting, helping, and hand-holding them.

Grievance Redressal: This grievance management portal is launched to help the MSME units in a difficult situation (such as COVID 19 pandemic) in terms of finance, raw materials, labor, permissions, etc. Explore MSME: To help MSME enterprises to avail new opportunities like manufacturing of medical accessories and products such as Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs), masks, etc. Promote the MSME: Champions portal is launched to identify the sparks that are the bright MSMEs who can become national and international champions.

Features of MSME CHAMPIONS Portal

It is a technology-driven Control Room-Cum-Management Information System that utilizes contemporary information and communication technology (ICT) tools. The champion’s portal is enabled by Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning. The portal is also fully integrated on a real-time basis with the Government of India’s main grievances portal

Centralized Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) and the Ministry’s other web-based mechanisms. For the better function of the CHAMPIONS portal, a network of control rooms is created in the Hub and Spoke Model.
  • The Hub (Central Control Room) is situated in New Delhi in the Secretary MSME’s office.
  • The spokes (State Control Rooms) will be in the States in various offices and institutions of the Ministry: MSME-DI Office

This new portal has the facility to register, seek/give ideas, view status, and access control rooms for MSME Grievance readdressed.

Register Grievance – The applicant MSME unit can register their grievance through this portal. Make Suggestion and Seek Guidance - The portal is designed with a provision for providing suggestions and seeking guidance related to the grievance. The Suggestion/Seek Guidance Registration Form is available in the portal. Provide your Ideas – The portal have access to the MSME Scheme, Ideas Innovation, and Research ideas portal, hence the user can provide their ideas for startup easily through this champion portal. View Grievance Status - The applicant can check the status of the registered grievance at any time using this feature of the portal. Locations of CHAMPIONS Control Rooms – The user can easily locate the champion's control room through this option. Resource for Champions – This is an important feature of this portal, it will give all information related to Government initiatives for MSME units, including the details of schemes offered to units Feedback Option – The user provides the details of experience for using the CHAMPIONS portal and valued feedback to enhance the features of this portal. COVID 19 Manufacturing – Provide information on the manufacturing of COVID related products used in COVID-19 using this tab. Register MSME units – Use this option in this new portal to access the National Portal for the Registration of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. This feature is provided for making the registration process easier for small businesses. MSME units can easily register there using the Udyog Aadhaar. Start-Up Corner - Startups can register as MSME through this portal avail the benefits offered by the Government.

CHAMPIONS Portal MSME Grievance Online Registration Form

The complete procedure to fill the MSME Grievance online registration form at the CHAMPIONS Portal is as follows: The businessman needs to access the

official website of the MSME CHAMPIONS. On the home page, scroll over the Register here tab present in the main menu and click on the Register Grievance link. CHAMPIONS Portal for MSME - Home Page Champions Portal For Msme - Home Page Accordingly, the MSME Grievance online registration form at CHAMPIONS portal will appear as follows: CHAMPIONS Portal for MSME - Grievance Online Registration Form Champions Portal For Msme - Grievance Online Registration Form Applicant person or organization can enter the user type, name of the person, state, address of the unit, district, e-mail ID, pin code, mobile number and click on the Get OTP on mobile number or email ID button. Afterwards, the applicant can easily validate the details by entering the OTP received in the registered mobile number. After the submission of the MSME grievance, the Government will address the issue and solve it as soon as possible to benefit the MSMEs.

The applicant can follow the below-mentioned instructions for Viewing the Status of the Grievance: Note: The MSME applicants are advised to keep the Grievance Number received at the time of registration for getting the status. From the CHAMPIANS portal, select the Grievance Status option, a new page will display as follows. Furnish the Grievance number as provided on successful registration of the grievance. And provide the Verification Code as provided in the Captcha.
