Akanksha Housing Scheme

The State Government of West Bengal has launched the Akanksha Housing Scheme to provide concessional housing to the state government employee. The Akanksha housing scheme provides land free of cost for the purpose of construction of flats to the government employees. Eligibility Criteria

All serving state government employees in West Bengal who do not have their own housing under the West Bengal housing department can apply under Akanksha Housing Scheme.

Payment Schedule

The applicant has to make payment on instalment by following the chart listed below

Application money	Rs.25,000.	At the time of submitting the application.
Allotment Money	40% of tentative total price including application money.	Within 45 days of the allotment order.
1st Installment	20% of the tentative total price.	Within 30 days of completion of 6th floor slab.
2st Installment	30% of the tentative total price.	Within 30 days of completion of 9th floor slab.
3rd Installment	10% of the tentative total price.	Within 30 days of completion of entire building.
4th Installment	Residual amount of final price.	Before taking possession.
