
Adarana 2 Scheme
Adarana 2 Scheme was launched on April 2018 by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh with a motive to provide empowerment opportunities and to increase the income of the backward class communities in the State. This scheme is implemented under the BC Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh. People belonging to these communities who earn their living through Cattle and Sheep Rearing, Toddy tapping, Earthworks and Blacksmithy etc, receive 90% subsidy for purchasing modern equipment and gadgets. - Laundry (Washermen)
- Pottery
- Oil pressing

- Goldsmithy
- Hairdressing and Musical Bands
- Blacksmithy
- Tailoring
- Brass smithy
- Dyeing
- Carpentry
- Stone cutting/ Building construction
Benefits of the Scheme
The following are the benefits of the scheme.- The scheme provides a 90% subsidy on modern tool purchase.
- The beneficiary has to only pay 10% of the total cost of the equipment or the gadget.
- Financial assistance is provided in three slabs: Rs. 30,000, Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000 as unit cost with 70% subsidy and 20% NBCFDC loan.
- It increases the income of the beneficiaries of the scheme.
- The scheme saves energy and time of the workers.
- It improves their living style.
- Helps in promoting empowerment of the community.
Documents Required
The following are the mandatory documents that have to be possessed while applying for this scheme.- Mobile Number.
- Ration card Number.
- Scanned copy of the Aadhaar Card.
- Caste certificate.
Eligibility of the Scheme
- The applicant has to be a citizen of the state.
- The applicant has to belong to the backward category.
- The applicant has to be between 18-50 years of age.
