Aadhar Enrolment Centres are entities involved in enrolling residents for Aadhar by gathering their demographic and biometric data in conformity with the

UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) enrollment process. It is operated by enrolment agencies engaged with registrars and ensures uninterrupted empanelment with UIDAI.

Objective

These centres have been set up across the country for enrolling new applicants into Aadhar and assisting them in updating their Aadhar Card details, among other services. The services rendered here are provided free of cost for the first time, while applicable charges will be levied for the subsequent services.

Locate Your Centre

UIDAI has provided a complete list of all active permanent enrollment centres in tier 1 and other cities, which can be accessed by the residents through the UIDAI website. The location can be identified by selecting the option

State-Wise

Users may locate a nearby Aadhar Card Enrolment Centre in a stage-wise manner. To perform this, he/she has to choose the state of residence using the drop-down list, further to which the district and sub-district concerned is selected. The search results indicate the relevant details such as the name of the Registrar, name of the agency, address of the applicable centre, name of the contact person, mobile number, last updated name, type of centre (permanent, temporary or camp), total enrolment in the last 30 days and the location of the centre on Google maps.

Pin Code

Users may identify their location of enrolment centres using the locality’s pin code. As is the case above, the results consisting of all the data related to enrolment centres will be displayed on the screen.

Search Box

Users who are not sure of their pin code or the exact address may use the search box feature to find an enrollment centre using details they remember such as the name of the locality, city, district or any other detail.

Carry Your Documents

Aadhar Card applicants are required to fill up a form that is available online on the official website of UIDAI, and submit the same to any of the authorized Aadhar Enrollment Centres. This form must be supported with the attachments of self-attested copies of certain supporting documents, which includes the identity proof, address proof, proof of birth, and proof of relationship.
