Bank of Baroda through the Baroda SME Gold Card provides an additional limit of 10% of the assessed eligible bank finance as working capital to MSME businesses. Bank of Baroda is an Indian bank and financial services company headquartered in Vadodara in Gujarat, India. Bank of Baroda is the second largest bank in India, next to State Bank Of India.

Overview

The purpose of Baroda SME Gold Card is to provide MSME businesses with less than Rs.150 crores annual sales turnover with a 10% additional working capital limit to meet emergent requirements for funds. Through the scheme, hassle free, spot assistance can be availed by borrowers to meet temporary mismatch in liquidity arising out of delayed payment by buyers, tax payment, execution of bulk orders, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

To obtain Baroda SME Gold Card, the account must be in Standard Category for last 2 years, with credit rating of BOB-5 and above and enjoying working capital limits of Rs. 25/- Lakhs and above. In addition, the account must have sole banking arrangement with Bank of Baroda or must be finance by financed under sole banking arrangement.

Interest & Repayment

The rate of interest applicable for regular cash credit facility would be applicable for Baroda SME Gold Card. The limit is provided for 12 months to be allowed on 4 occasions during the year for a maximum period of 2 months on each occasion with a minimum gap of 15 days between two withdrawals.

How to Avail

No additional documentation or formalities are required at the time of availing facility every time as the 10% additional limit will be a part of the regular sanction. Further, no additional collateral security would be required.
